Get up to date voting information for Ohio voters

You have two options: 

  1. Print your request and mail it to your county Board of Elections by October 6.
    Fill out an absentee ballot application online and download the PDF and print from your printer. 
  2. Have an application mailed to you by your Board of Elections. Call your Board of Elections to request an application.

You must register or update your voter registration by October 7 for the November 5, 2024 Presidential General Election

Registered voters may cast an early in-person ballot at their county board of elections. Click here to find the early in-person voting location in your county.

  • September 20: Military & Overseas Absentee Voting Begins 

  • October 6: Deadline to request your Absentee Vote by Mail application

  • October 7: Deadline to Register to Vote

  • October 8: Early In-Person and Vote by Mail Begins

  • October 29: Absentee Voting By Mail application received

  • November 1: Mail-in ballots must be postmarked

  • November 5: General ELECTION DAY, polls open 6:30am – 7:30pm

  • November 9: Military & Overseas ballots must be received
